I originally visited Dr. Sulikowski on the recommendation of a good friend for whom he had done dental veneers. Her veneers were far better than any I had seen previously. I wanted him to examine some problems with my teeth with a view towards giving me some veneers. However, he determined that I had problems with my gums that needed to be addressed first. He did a wonderful job on my gums, and then, coincidently, several of my ancient silver filings fell out at the same time that I chipped one of my teeth. So, he gave me a crown and two inlays. Again, the results of his work have been beautiful. I can honestly say that he performed all of these procedures painlessly in an office that seems designed for the comfort of the patient. Moreover, he explains every step that he takes both before and during the procedures which I greatly appreciated and which relieves the stress I would otherwise have experienced.

Dr. Sulikowski is the most thorough, knowledgeable, caring dentist I have ever seen. I have very complicated dental problems which another dentist had caused and the problem had not been recognized by further consults with “excellent dentists”. Dr. Sulikowski immediately recognized there was a complicated problem with my crowns and my bite. He insisted on a complete evaluation of my teeth and overall bite and then met with me to carefully go over the treatment options. He is so kind, so knowledgeable and so technically good. He could easily have just fixed the bridge and sent me on my way. Instead he took the time and has the professional ethic to really evaluate the whole situation and come up with the correct diagnosis and treatment which other dentists completely missed. He is very rare and very good.”

So far I have had Dr. Sulkowski perform a tooth extraction and bone graft. He will be doing my implants as well. He’s a very talented and caring dentist. He takes the time to explain what he’s doing, and gives you very thorough care instructions. He is very concerned that you do not feel any pain yet does not try to give you too much novacaine – he will take the time to give you just the right amount. During the procedure he is very thorough, tells you what to expect, and checks to make sure you are okay and feeling no discomfort. I was playing tennis 2 days later and felt great. It’s obvious to me that Dr. Sulikowski enjoys his profession and wants to help his patients. He is a very personable doctor as well. My hygienist told me he was great and she was right!

Alan Sulikowski of Restorative Dental Group of Cambridge was, and still is, my daughter’s dentist. She lives in Belmont, MA. For the last few years I’ve lived in North Carolina, where I am a Senior Lecturer of Journalism at Wake Forest College. In North Carolina, my dentist kept recommending full dentures for my deteriorating teeth. “It’s going to happen eventually, ” he said. So, we tried gum transplants. I lost a lot of bone. The dentist reported, “It’s just a matter of time.” But I wanted a better way. So, about two years ago, I made an appointment with Alan Sulikowski during a visit to my daughter. It was the best thing I could have done. The first thing Alan said was, “There’s so much we can do.” He was so incredibly gently, encouraging – and I totally trusted him. He laid out the options. While he suggested partials, he also said it was okay to keep going the way I was. He said I could start out with a few false teeth, and take it from there. Most importantly, he explained the many steps we could take.

The next summer we started the work. Even though Alan just used Novacain, I never even felt a shot. He also checked in with me constantly during the procedures. When he would cup your cheek and chin in his hand and ask, “Are you okay?” you just felt like you were in the hands of an angel.

Now the work is finished and I could not be happier. When Alan first held up the mirror so I could see the final result, I just started crying. I had never seen such beautiful teeth since I was young. He did a lot of work that’s be never been done before, and what I truly appreciated about him is that he’s not just a skilled engineer – he’s an artist.
When I truly realized what had happened I found that I began to smile. I’d been putting my hand over my mouth since I was in my twenties! Students who had never seen me smile before now see that when I walk into my classes. Alan Sulikowski completely opened the world up to me for smiling. In short, he changed my life.
I’ve never encountered a dentist like Alan. I am absolutely devoted to him, and will make sure that I travel once a year to see him, always.

What’s great about Restorative Dental is the one-stop convenience of getting everything you need done in one place. After a dentist from another practice misdiagnosed two fillings, causing me extreme pain, I sought help from Dr. Alan Sulikowski of RDGC. He immediately referred me to a colleague in the practice, Dr. Exarchos, for two emergency root canals. I was totally amazed. The work took less than an hour and a half and there was no pain at all. I didn’t even need an Advil. After the root canals, Dr. Sulikowski took over. He talked to me about every possible step and option moving forward with the permanent crowns – everything from tooth placement to coloration. He gave me a cohesive review of what was about to happen, not just of the dental work but of the cosmetics results as well. He talked about the artistic side of crown work, and what that meant in relation to my smile. Most importantly, he listened to my concerns and questions and addressed every one of them until I was satisfied.

It only took 3 visits to get the work done. I was in no pain whatsoever – even though Dr. Sulikowski ended up having to do a little bit of dental surgery. Once again, I didn’t even need to take an Advil. When I saw the finished work I said, ‘Wow, those are my teeth!’ They looked completely natural, just like my other teeth. What I learned from the experience is that while Dr. Sulikowski is definitely an artist, he’s also very easy to talk to – not intimidating at all. I felt I could be honest with him about anything. And he really cares about the outcome. He always called the day after my visit – or, sometimes, even that night – to make sure there were no complications. That’s a diminishing service these days, and just one of many reasons why RDGC is worth experiencing, whether it’s for an emergency or just a routine visit.

Dr. Sulikowski recognized that I was worried about the procedure, that I had a lot of fears, that I didn’t like the surgery aspect of it. So he was extremely patient with me. Just the way that he uses his hands to color the shape of the tooth.. he is really truly an artist.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Exarchos for about 3 years now. A friend of my wife had just finished at BU Dental School and I asked her if she knew any good dentists in Cambridge. She pointed me towards Restorative Dental Group because they taught at BU. She said they were great. So, I signed up with Dr. Exarchos. While all the work he’s performed has been good, the part I value the most from his treatment is that he is honest and practical. I like to understand my options, the treatment, etc, and he never seems to be rushed. He is always willing to take time to speak with me about my concerns, answer my questions, and add his opinions. For example, I went in for an appointment to have a bunch of cavities filled in my wisdom teeth one day and when I asked him if I was better off getting them pulled he said yes and that if they were his teeth he would just have them pulled. So, I decided to have them pulled (by an oral surgeon). I left his office and didn’t pay anything, despite chewing up an hour or two block on his schedule for my scheduled fillings. The staff is also friendly and the office is immaculate and comfortable.

I came to Cambridge from Berkeley CA, where I and my wife had a wonderful dentist, whom we thought we will never find anyone similar to. We were wrong. Dr. Lo’s warmth and fantastic smile put me at ease from the very beginning. I have known Dr. Lo since 2006 and from the beginning, she made most memorable impressions in many aspects of our interactions, including her amazing skills as an outstanding dentist, passion to her field, and her desire to serve others. Her quality work on me include an overall and accurate assessment on what needed to be done, conveying the information to me in a clear manner, and assuming an important role in assuaging my anxiety and concerns about the depth of work she was about to embark upon. Dr. Lo by far is one of the most capable dentists I have ever worked with. In addition to her high skills, she possesses superb interpersonal skills. She quickly establishes strong rapport with her clients due in large part to her genuineness, and ability to express a deep and heart-felt level of empathy. She also possesses outstanding sense of humor. She worked exceptionally hard every time I saw her. She was always well prepared, waiting in the room for me with her assistance, with my folder on the table, and the electronic pictures of my teeth on the screen above. Most important, she was eager to greet me warmly, and put me at ease taking her time talking with me before beginning her work. Finally, she has excellent staff members, who are very professional and very helpful, and who go out of their way to make you feel welcome at their nice, quiet, and clean offices.

Dr. Lo has been taking care of my dental needs for the past six years. During that time, she’s worked with me on some very serious issues that could have resulted in any number of long term problems. I find her to be thorough, knowledgeable, aware of the latest research, always pleasant, personable, patient, and extremely capable. She’s a delightful woman with a genuine warmth and caring spirit. I feel very fortunate to have found her and have recommended her to friends who have thanked me many times over. I couldn’t be more pleased being in her very capable hands.

Dr. Christine Lo was first a friend, then my dentist, so I’m not perhaps the most objective reference…but Dr. Lo is a wonderful person and a fantastic and extremely talented dentist. I’m lucky that I haven’t had to have too much dental work done recently, but when I have, Dr. Lo’s skill and attention to detail are first-rate, and she makes the process of having work done as pleasant as it can be. I have ultimate respect for her work, and I trust her judgment, which is critical, because over the years, before I came to her practice, so many dentists in the Boston area always want to sell me something I didn’t necessarily need or do too much work. Dr. Lo wants to do the right thing for her patients. She’s also a lot of fun to talk with. I couldn’t recommend her more. I also like the office there and their use of the latest technologies, and I’ve had good experiences with several hygienists in her practice.

I have used Dr. Fish for over 10 years for a range of dental work including numerous crowns (some with root canals that he referred to area endodontists), referrals for minor gum surgeries, fillings, and general dental care. I recommend him very, very highly. To the extent I’m competent to judge, his work is first rate. He is honest, personable, flexible and willing to frankly discuss options and uncertainties when they arise. As far as I can tell, he keeps up with and uses new technologies as they become available (e.g. electronic imaging in place of traditional X-rays.) I believe his prices are typical of the better Cambridge-based dentists, which is to say not unusually cheap. I have nothing negative to say about him. Highly recommended.

Dr. David Fish has been taking care of all my dental needs for more than 10 years. Being a baby-boomer who grew up without the benefit of fluoride, he’s had his challengers; with his expert care and comforting manner, I have a beautiful smile (thanks to six porcelain veneers-my retirement gift to myself). Dr. Fish has genuine patience to go “at my pace” for our longer procedures which make for a more calm and relaxed visit.

I have been a patient of Dr. David Fish since 2006, when I moved to Cambridge. I needed some restorative work, and fortunately for me, I landed in his capable hands. He takes care of all my dental needs and I could not be more satisfied.

Best dentist you will ever find. There’s nothing I loathe more than sitting in a Dentist’s chair – except if it’s with Dr. Kronstein at the Restorative Dental Group of Cambridge. I had had countless negative experiences with dentists – Too much pain, poor jobs, lack of sympathy- and the worst one: I was even asked to leave once because the Dentist could not handle how nervous I was. I carried all of that into Dr. Kronstein’s office on my first visit, but he patiently, gradually got rid of all of those past issues until I was able to let him work. And the results were amazing. I had had a crown made at another office, and you could clearly tell it’s there if you were to look. The crowns that Dr. Kronstein made I can barely tell apart from my regular teeth; I personally think it’s a work of art (a clear result of the amount of time and dedication he gives his patients). I’ve also seen other dentists at the Restorative Dental Group of Cambridge, and their level of work is held to the same standards. If you hate dentists, he’ll make that go away. If you wish to have work done that will not make you think twice before you smile, that’s the place to go. Best dentist you’ll ever find!

Elliot has been my dentist for 25 years. He is a master in his profession. Elliot is a perfectionist and a true scientist who keeps up with the state of the art techniques. As if that were not enough he is a compassionate and lovely person. I am lucky to have Elliot as my dentist – he’s given me the best smile I could ask for.

Elliot is an ideal combination: His knowledge and skill is totally 21st century and his demeanor and style are totally warm and nurturing and old-fashioned. I’m a complete wimp when it comers to dentists, but I have to say it’s easier to bear it all with Elliot. I feel blessed to have found him.

As a longtime patient for the past thirty years of Elliot Kronstein I have always been impressed with his caring attention to detail, superlative level of craftsmanship, and his availability in times of dental crisis. I have confidently recommended him to friends, family members, and acquaintances, all of whom have been as pleased as I to be in his practice.

I moved from London to Cambridge last October and will be living here until October 2012 while my husband completes a medical research degree at Harvard. As luck would have it, we’d been here for just two months before I discovered that one of my premolar teeth had cracked and required urgent dental work. After some blind searching I was eventually given Dr. Kronstein’s details and told “he will do a great job.” In my view this turned out to be an understatement. I have rarely come across a more thorough, caring and highly skilled practitioner. I don’t believe there can be many self respecting people who look forward eagerly to their appointment with the dentists chair but Dr. Kronstein’s easy manner and skill meant that my experience was so far from being unpleasant. I am left with a brilliantly matched crown and the confidence to pass his name along.

I’m such a wimp at the dentist. And Dr. Kronstein has been so patient with me! I have a baby tooth still in my mouth that he carefully replaced a cavity for and managed to keep the rest of the tooth intact. I’ve also had 5 silver fillings removed and replaced with either crowns or white fillings. I’m grateful that a friend of mine referred me to this place.
